George Hutchison

George E. Hutchison, age 71 and a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, passed away on Monday, June 25 at 9:45 p.m.
George was born on January 1, 1947 to Gobel Hutchison and Helen (Brainard) Hutchison. Born in Rush, Kentucky, George was the oldest of 12. He spent many years living in Northern Indiana.
George was married to Jane Metzger on December 9, 1969. They were together for nearly 50 years before George’s passing; Jane survives in South Whitley. He worked at Irmscher for more than 40 years, first as a laborer and later as warehouse manager.
In addition to his wife, Jane, George is survived by his son, Shawne Hutchison of South Whitley; daughter, Courtney Taylor, and her husband Ben, of Atwood; two grandchildren, Alivia and Blake Taylor; and nine siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
His family has chosen to celebrate George’s life privately. No services will be held. Those wishing to express sympathy may sign the guestbook.
