George Paul Springer, 75, passed away September 18, 2013 in his Houston, Texas home.
George was born November 27, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to Phillip and Josephine (Menuch) Springer.
A college graduate, he entered in the United States Air Force July 27, 1959 and served in Sonseca, Spain. Airman 1st Class George Paul Springer was discharged July 14, 1964.
He is survived by a sister-in-law: Patricia Springer, Claypool, Indiana; 6 nephews: Edward A. Springer, Garden City, Missouri; Mark Springer, Casa Grande, Arizona; Thomas (and Dianne) Springer of Cedarburg, Wisconsin; Patrick (and Janet) Springer of West Plain, Missouri; and David (and Annie) Springer, Indianapolis, Indiana; along with several great nieces and nephews.
Preceding George in death was a brother: Edward Springer, February 3, 2012; and a half sister: Phyllis Miller.
A private family service was held Tuesday November 12th at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, Indiana with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain. Military Honors were conducted by Warsaw's American Legion Post 49 and V.F.W. Post 1126. Burial took place in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
