Geraldine L. Click, 97, of Syracuse (formerly of Cromwell), died at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday January 6, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born March 19, 1911 in Syracuse, IN to Jacob Elias and Rosa Dell (Swihart) Click.
She was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and Cromwell and graduated in 1930 from Syracuse High School. She retired from General Telephone in 1973 after 36 years of service where she worked at many different jobs. She was a member of the North Webster Church of the Brethren, Independent Telephone Pioneer Association, and a lifetime member of the Elkhart Employees Club. She was a former member of the Cromwell Senior Citizen Cloud Chasers.
She is survived by a few cousins.
She was preceded by her parents, 1 Sister - Katherine Click, & 1 Brother - Cecil Click
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse with Rev. Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.. Burial will follow at the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot, IN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial bequest may be given to North Webster Church of the Brethren or Donor's Choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
