Biography
Glen L. Longenecker, 78, passed away February 11, 2014 at 5:55 PM in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana.
Glen was born in Clunette, Indiana on December 12, 1935 to Charles Isaac and Cleo Maybelle (Bittikoffer) Longenecker. He was a 1953 Warsaw High School graduate.
On June 16, 1962 he and Marian V. Greene were married in Warsaw.
He was a lifelong Kosciusko County resident and was a truck driver for Batesville Casket Company for 5 years. He retired in 1976.
Glen was a former member of Atwood Lions Club and a member of the Old Car Club where he proudly showed his Model T Ford.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law: Elizabeth and Mitch Feldman of Warsaw; 3 step sons: Jeff Keegan of Arizona, Gerald Keegan of Virginia and Michael Keegan of Arizona; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law: Jeannene Reynolds of Johnson City, Tennessee and June and Ronald Surprenant of Saginaw, Texas.
Glen was preceded in death by Marian, his wife of 48 years who passed away September 15, 2010; his parents: Charles and Cleo Longenecker; and 2 brothers: Theodore B. Longenecker (March 10, 2000) and Richard D. Longenecker (September 13, 2002).
A private family service will be held with burial in Oswego Cemetery, Oswego, Indiana.
The family has asked that gifts given in Glen's memory be directed to Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, PO Box 1196, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196.
