Glinda Fay Isley, age 71 of Warsaw, passed away quietly at Mason Healthcare in Warsaw on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
Glinda was born in Lebanon, TN on August 4, 1951. She was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Ward) Swafford. She spent most of her lifetime in Kosciusko County, moving to the area with her family when she was quite young. She was a 1969 graduate of Warsaw High School.
Glinda was a person of quiet faith. She loved the Lord and was previously a member of New Harvest Church of the Nazarene, Warsaw. Glinda also loved animals, especially cats. She was a fan of Elvis Presley and of daytime dramas, especially Days of Our Lives. More than anything, she loved Christmas time - shopping and being with her family.
United in marriage to Kenneth Isley on May 29, 1969, Kenneth preceded Glinda in passing as did her parents. Those who survive include daughter, Melissa (Kerry) Getz; sons, Jeremy Isley and James (Brittney) Isley; grandchildren: Natasha Lindley, Mallorie Isley, Brian Isley and Chase Getz and great-grandchildren: Vincent, Caspian, Madison, Cooper, Chloe, Addison; and brother, Owen Swafford.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw is entrusted with Glinda's care. A graveside service is planned for Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. in Athens (Hoover) Cemetery. 6500 East SR 14, Rochester, Indiana.
