Biography
Gloria L. Bradway, 87, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:15 p.m. in her Warsaw, Indiana home.
Gloria, the daughter of Francis “Woodie” and Opal Ruth (Highlen) Woods, was born September 22, 1929 in Marion, Indiana. She was a 1947 graduate of Warsaw High School.
On March 21, 1948, she and Dale Bradway were joined in marriage in Warsaw. He survives after sharing 68 wonderful years together. Except for the winter months that she loved living in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, she was a lifetime Warsaw resident.
Gloria enjoyed being a homemaker who also was the secretary for Woodie’s Rental and later drove bus for Cardinal Center.
Gloria loved going to the shows at the Wagon Wheel Theatre. She also loved humming birds and crafting with ceramics. She was an avid fisherman (Dale’s fishing buddy) and in earlier years was a Cub Scout leader. But in all things, family was her first priority.
In addition to Dale those left with hearts full of beautiful memories are their daughter and son-in-law: Ruth and Kenneth Bond of Silver Lake, Indiana; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Jim Bradway of Greenfield, Indiana and Charlie and Janice Bradway of Lakeland, Florida; 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Larry Bradway.
Family and friends will gather together for a time of sharing memories Friday, January 20th from 4-6 PM at Titus Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service which will take place Saturday, January 21st at 1:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Pastor Bob Jarboe, chaplain with Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
