Gloria J. Chivington

Gloria J. Chivington, 66, of North Webster, IN passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 17, 1952 in Fort Wayne, IN to Charles and Patricia (Otis) Huffman.

She graduated in 1970 from Southside High School in Fort Wayne and on March 25, 1972 in Fort Wayne, IN she was married to Edward L. “Ed” Chivington who preceded her on March 27, 2019. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Heaters, Inc. in North Webster for several years and was a nurse’s aide at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She grew up in Fort Wayne and lived in Noble County until she moved to North Webster 30+ years ago.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, crafts, ceramics, and was a former bowler.

She is survived by:

Twin daughters – Stacey (Rich) Vester of Syracuse & Tracey (Steve) Harris of Columbia City

Son – Joseph Chivington of Warsaw

6 Grandchildren & 2 Gt. Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Debbie Luckadoo and Brenda Demit both of Fort Wayne

3 Brothers – David (Cindy) Huffman of Fort Wayne, Dennis (Bobbi) Huffman of Fort Wayne, and Don (Rhonda) Huffman of Warsaw

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son – Craig Chivington, and sister – Pamela Faulkenberg.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family services will take place at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN is in charge of arrangements.
