Guadalupe C. "Lupe" Castillo

Guadalupe C. "Lupe" Castillo, 58, of Elkhart, IN (formerly of Milford, IN) passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1962 in San Antonio, TX to Gilbert Castillo & Carmen Perales.

She moved to Indiana in September 1972 and graduated from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She lived in Milford for several years, Fort Wayne for a few years, and most of her life in the Goshen / Elkhart area.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies & Gents of the Cross Bible Study.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Juanita (Beth) Rodriguez of Auburn, IN

2 Sons – Mario (Michelle) Rodriguez of Fort Wayne & Miguel (Nicole) Rodriguez of Syracuse

9 Grandchildren

Mother – Carmen Perales

2 Sisters – Janie (Bernando) Galindo of Elkhart & Carmen (Susan) Castillo of South Bend

Brother – Gilbert (Kim) Castillo Jr. of Elkhart

She was preceded in death by her father, daughter in law – Jessica Rodriguez, and grandson – Gideon Rodriguez.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 on Monday in the funeral home with Dinna Disse officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.
