Gwendolyn "Gwen" S. Elliott

Gwendolyn "Gwen" S. Elliott, of Syracuse, passed away early Christmas morning, December 25, 2024, at the age of 65. Gwen was born on October 21, 1959, in Goshen, Indiana, the daughter of David and Joy (Slusher) Kyle.

With a heart as vibrant as her spirit, Gwen delighted in the role of being the life of the party, always bringing joy and laughter to the lives she touched. Her playful presence could light up any room, and in the comfort of her home, she created a sanctuary filled with love, laughter, and warmth. She found joy in the simple pleasures of cooking and baking for her loved ones, often surrounding her family with delicious meals that forged lifelong memories.

Alongside her adoration for her family, she held a special bond with her two beloved cats, Buddy and Princess, who brought her immeasurable joy and companionship. An avid believer in second chances, Gwen turned thrifting into an art form; garage sales were her playground. She could often be found outside under the sun, tanning and taking in the fresh air and warm rays.

Gwen's deep commitment to her family was evident in everything she did. She will be deeply missed by her children, Bobby (Michelle) Elliott, Josh (Amanda) Elliott, and Heather (Jerry) Elliott; her grandchildren: Seth, Dakoda, Adalynn Elliott, Jayden and Jace Elliott, and Karson and Payten Baxter; her siblings: David (Mindy) Kyle, Gary Kyle, Wayne (Becky) Kyle, Mike (April) Kyle, Sherri (Brian) Goin, Roger (Susan) Kyle, Cathy (Von) Doering, Doug (Cindy) Kyle, and Ronnie Kyle, and brother-in-law Clifford Warble.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Cindy Warble; and sister-in-law, Roxanna Kyle.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1001 S. Huntington Street, Syracuse, IN 46567 is entrusted with Gwen's care. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
