Biography
Buthene Fuller, 87, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
Buthene was born July 21, 1927 in Warsaw to Avery L. and Blanche (Weimer) Garber.
She was a 1943 graduate of Warsaw High School and a 1945 graduate of International Business College, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
On September 28, 1946, in Warsaw, she and Robert H. Fuller were joined in marriage.
Buthene lived in the Warsaw area all her life. She was a legal secretary for 50 years for the firms Widaman Attorney and then Reed and Earhart. She retired in 1997.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Thursday Night Bowling League, Thursday afternoon Bridge Club, Rozella Women’s Golf League and American Legion Auxiliary #49. She really enjoyed all kinds of sports but especially baseball – whether playing or spectating. Buthene was a loving and caring mom and grandmother – her grandchildren meant everything to her.
Buthene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Patrick and Judy Fuller, Warsaw; 2 grandsons and their wives: Jim and Amy Fuller of Atwood, Indiana and Kevin and Emily Fuller of Milford, Indiana; 10 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (December 30, 2004); brother, Curtis Garber (March 8, 2009); sister, Helen Fisher (1948), and niece, Judy Fisher Pequignot (March 21, 1990).
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing memories in support of each other Saturday, December 27th from 12 Noon – 2:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. A service celebrating Buthene’s life will follow beginning at 2 PM in the funeral home. Pastor Toni Carmer of First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family has asked that gifts in Buthene’s memory be directed to Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, PO Box 1196, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196.
