Harriet Elizabeth White, 91, of North Webster, IN passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center in Milford, IN. She was born on January 9, 1921 in Warsaw, IN to Riley & Jennie (Estep) Neibert.

She was a lifetime area resident and graduated in 1939 from North Webster High School. She was married on August 24, 1940 in North Webster to Glen White who preceded her in May 1979. She was a home maker who assisted her husband on the family farm & former co-owner / operator of White Plumbing & Heating in North Webster for many years. She also formerly worked as a window clerk at North Webster Post Office, as a secretary at the North Webster School, worked in the school library, worked at Honest John’s Lumber Co. in Leesburg, and was a waitress at the M & M Restaurant in North Webster.

She was a member of the North Webster Church of God and Hi Neighbors Home Ec. Club in North Webster.

She is survived by:
2 Sons - Gary (wife, Kathy) White of Edwardsburg, MI & Joseph (wife, Judy) White of Kimmell, IN
2 Grand, 3 Gt. Grand
4 Sisters - Betty Froyd of Minneapolis, MN; Lois Kendall of Indianapolis, IN; Mrs. Cliff (Ruth) Rider of Leesburg, & Mrs. Nelson (Margret Ann) Worden of Louisville, KY
1 Brother – Lewis “Bud” (wife, Sue) Neibert of Leesburg
She was preceded by her parents, husband, sister - Maxine Zince, & 3 brothers – Maurice, Riley Jr., & Loren Neibert.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the North Webster Church of God, 302 N. Main Street, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the church  with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the North Webster Cemetery.

Memorial bequest may be given to North Webster Church of God, P.O. Box 313, North Webster, IN 456555. Envelopes are available at the church.
