Hattie Brown, age 83 of Warsaw, passed away in the morning hours of December 14, 2020 at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw of complications arising from COVID-19.
Hattie was born in Martin Kentucky on June 25, 1937. She was the daughter of Edward and Martha (Howard) Slone. She was married to the late William Brown on November 22, 1954.
Hattie loved to cook. She enjoyed tending her flower gardens and showering her grandchildren with love. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest love and focus. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Those who grieve her loss and look forward to their Heavenly reuniting include her sons: Michael (wife, Deborah) Brown of Winona Lake and Steven (wife, Karen) Brown of Ballwin, MO; three grandchildren: Jonathan Brown, Elizabeth (husband, Lucas) Cone and Katie Brown and three sisters: Marcie Kirk, Louise Hopkins and Edna Hughes. She was preceded in passing be her ex-husband, William Brown; father, Edward Slone; mother, Martha Slone; stepmother; Ida Slone and by four brothers: Ed, Ted, Willie and Darrell Slone.
Warsaw’s Titus Funeral Home is assisting the family with private interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Lucas Cone will officiate the graveside.
