Helen L. Priddy 94, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 11:45 a.m. on February 27, 2011, at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. She was born on February 19, 1917 in Lebanon, IL to Lee Edward & Florence (McDonald) Walker.
She grew up in Illinois and attended public schools in Webster Grove, IL and was married on November 2, 1935 to Henry Priddy who preceded her in 1984. She retired in 1979 from McDonald Douglass Aircraft as a cook in St. Louis, IL. She lived in Lebanon, IN from 1979-2001 until she moved to Syracuse and then in 2008 she moved to Cromwell. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Syracuse and a formerly attended the Syracuse Senior Citizens.
She is survived by:
2 Nephews – Larry Walker & Edward Walker
Niece – Mrs. David (Penny) Norris
3 Great Nephews, 1 Great Niece, & 3 Great Gt. Nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers – Earl Walker & Edward Walker, and 1 infant sister.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Craig Fitchley of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition).
Memorial bequest may be given to United Pentecostal Church, 107 E. Pearl St., Syracuse, IN 46567. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
