Henrietta K. Thomas, 82, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 4:45 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
Henrietta was born May 6, 1932, in Cervenka, Yugoslavia to Frederick and Julianna (Genyeresh) Lahm.
She came to Kosciusko County from Germany in 1955.
On July 1, 1978 she and Emil Emerson Thomas, Jr. were married in Frankton, Indiana. He would precede her in death on February 27, 2000.
A Warsaw resident, Henrietta was a packer for Kimble Glass for 20 years retiring in 1990. She was a member of Warsaw Eagles Auxiliary and Warsaw Elks Auxiliary. She attended First Christian Church, Warsaw.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Henri and Robert L. Beeler, Jr., of Knightstown, Indiana; son: Paul Marlette, Warsaw; sister: Gerda Miihlbauer, Munich, Germany; 2 granddaughters: Amber (and Adam) Darbutt of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina; and Nicci (and Richard) Tracy of Rushville, Indiana; 2 grandsons: Cpl. Robert Beeler, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and Erik Beeler of Carthage, Indiana.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Tuesday, February 10th from 10 AM – 12 Noon at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. A service celebrating Henrietta’s life will follow beginning at 12 Noon. Pastor Gary Boschain of First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be given to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Henrietta’s memory.
