Ina Jane Wells, 90, of Ligonier, Indiana and formerly of Reed City, Michigan, passed away December 3, 2016, at Goshen, Indiana.
She was born September 17, 1926 in Reed City, Michigan to Joseph and Nova (Smith) Dyer. On January 5, 1945, she married Web E. Wells, who proceeded her in death in 1976. She was also proceeded in death by her brothers Tim (Doris) Dyer and Dick Dyer.
She lived in Reed City, Michigan, before moving to Indiana in 1960. She worked at Essex Wire and Monsanto, and was a long-time member of St Patrick's Catholic Church. She is survived by 3 sons: Eugene of Grayslake, IL, Gary of Ft Wayne, and Dean (Michelle) of Bloomington; one daughter: Christine (Bruce) Leslie of Ligonier; sister-in-law Esther Dyer and daughter-in-law Sherry (Rhinesmith) Wells.
Her grandchildren are: Troy (Teresa) Wells, Angela Leslie (Jon) Scott, David Leslie, Derek (Kassie) Wells, and Bryan, Kevin, and Dana Wells. Great grandchildren include Amelia Scott and soon-to-arrive Baby Wells.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 300 Ravine Park Dr., Ligonier, IN. A rosary service will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the church and a Catholic funeral mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday in the church with Fr. Wilson Corzo officiating. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Reed City, MI.
