Inez Pearl Barrett, 97, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:10 AM in Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake, Indiana.
She was born Inez Pearl Early July 12, 1916 in Scott Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana to John LaMont and Annie Alta (Eaton) Early.
She and Herschel Wayne Dinkledine were married February 20, 1938 in Milford, Indiana. He would pass away July 29, 1944. Then on May 13, 1948 she would marry Jeuith D. Barrett in Claypool, Indiana. He would precede her in death on November 2, 2008.
Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Kosciusko County. She was a member of the Community Grace Brethren Church and the Lamplighter Home Ec Club.
Survivors include 2 daughters and a son-in-law: Dorothy Ann and Delmer Poe of Claypool, Indiana; and Wanda Paris of Indianapolis, Indiana; son and daughter-in-law: David Allen and Phyllis Barrett of Silver Lake, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by a daughter: Carolyn Kay Barrett (December 22, 1951); 2 sons: Samuel J. Barrett (September 6, 1984) and Charles Robert Barrett (June 15, 2011). As sister, brother, grandson and a great grandson would also precede her in death.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing Tuesday, November 12th from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating the life of Inez Pearl Barrett will begin at 2 PM in the funeral home. Rev. Glenn Byers, chaplain at Grace Village Retirement Community will officiate. Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery, Bourbon, Indiana.
The family has asked that gifts in Mrs. Barrett's memory be given to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in her memory.
