Irene Smith (Papauran)

Irene G. Smith passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 4:22 p.m. in IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was 30.
Irene was born in the Philippines to Rodito and Lucy (Gilbuena) Papauran and was a high school graduate.
She and Jonathon W. Smith were married in the Philippines on July 25, 2007.
They resided in Warsaw where she was the manager at Burger King.
Irene enjoyed watching movies, shopping and listening to music. She was a loving wife and mom.
Broken hearted, those who loved her most and are left with precious memories are her husband: Jonathon Smith and their 2 sons: Adrian “AJ” Smith and Kyle “KC” Smith; mother: Lucy Gilbuena, father: Rodito Papauran, sister: Nancy Papauran; brother: Rene Papauran; and Grandpa Gilbuena – all of the Philippines; father-in-law: and Mother-in-law: Doug and Maria Smith; 2 brothers-in-law: Dean Smith and Doug Smith, Jr. – all of Warsaw; niece: Maelynn Smith and nephew: Liam Smith – both at home.
She was preceded in death by her Grandma Gilbuena.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 30th at 10:30 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Father Phil DeVolder of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, will officiate.
