Jacklyn K. Searls

Jacklyn "Jackie" K. Searls passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the age of 56.

Born on January 29, 1966, Jackie was the daughter of Jack L. Searls and Kay F. Kemper. On May 16, 2016, she married Forrest Pelfrey. After the birth of her children, Jackie stayed home to raise four daughters before working as an associate at Walmart where she developed many close friendships who were affectionately referred to as her Walmart Family. Jackie loved her cats, and proudly accepted the label of "Cat Lady". She enjoyed reading, gardening, and camping. Jackie was especially fond of the beach and often travelled to Florida with her husband, Forrest. She was known as a straight shooter who was quick to speak her mind.

Jackie will always be remembered for her kind heart and strong spirit. Jackie is survived by her husband, Forrest; children, Kristie Searls, Tina (Matt) Double, Ashley Searls, Jessica (George) Trump, Gavin Pelfrey, and Isaac Pelfrey; father, Jack Searls; grandchildren, Alexzander Sanchez, Natalie Goodman, Violet Zimmer, Kamron Trump, Hensly Bollinger, Wesley Double, and George Trump; brother, Rick (Jan) Searls, Fred (Sheila) Searls, and Anthony (Krista) Searls. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay; son, Steven Searls; granddaughter, Francis Searls; and brother, Jerry Searls.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is caring for Jackie and her family. There are no services planned at this time. Memorials may be given to the ARK Animal Sanctuary/ARK Animal Rescue, 530 E 300 S, LaGrange, IN 46761.
