James Donald Harrison, 83, passed away in his brother’s Fort Wayne, Indiana home, Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 6:30 AM.
James was born June 30, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee to Haywood and Erma (Robinson) Harrison.
He had lived in the Warsaw area since 1947 and was an electric polisher with Zimmer for 20 years - retiring in 1985.
James is survived by 5 brothers: Sherlock Harrison, Sr., Fort Wayne; Haywood Harrison, Jr., Argos, Indiana; Sherwood Harrison, Arcent Van Harrison and Larry D. Harrison - all of Nashville, Tennessee. James was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood and Erma Harrison; sister, Diane Riddle Harrison; and brother, John Harrison.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Saturday, May 24th from 9 - 11 AM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating the life of James Donald Harrison will follow beginning at 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Anthony Payton of Come As You Are Church (Fort Wayne) officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in James’ memory.
