James Martin

James F. Martin passed away Sunday, August 13th, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was 57 years old. He was born on January 22, 1960 in Marion to James N. and Mary Lou (Walker) Martin.
On April 5, 1999, he was married to Wilma Patrick in Warsaw, who survives. They would share 18 years together.
James was a member of the United States Army, serving during the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm).
Spending most of his lifetime in Warsaw, James worked for Jack Cooper Transport as a car hauler. He belonged to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 414 and was a past member of the Pierceton American Legion, Post 258.
Those left with memories to cherish include his wife, Wilma; 4 daughters, Jamie (Shane Sapp, companion) Brown of Pierceton, Jeannie (Adam) Trexler of Jonesboro, Jamie (Tim) Allen, and Brandi (Manuel) Tlahuetl, both of Warsaw; 3 sons, James F. Martin II of Goshen, Joshua (April) Martin of Fort Rucker, Alabama, and James Adkins of Dayton, Ohio; 24 Grandchildren; father, James N. (Sally) Martin of Marion; and brother, Jon (Angie) Martin of Akron, Indiana.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Martin who passed on December 11, 1997.
A graveside service will take place in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery at 11 AM on Friday, August 18th. Military honors will be conducted at the service, performed by Pierceton's American Legion Post 258.
