James Shaffer

James “Jim” Robert Shaffer, resident of Akron, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at the age of 78. One of ten children, Jim was born in Warsaw, IN on January 2, 1944 to Carl and Margaret Shaffer.

Those who survive with memories to cherish include his wife of 55 years Maxine; daughter Christina; grandchildren and great grandchildren; four brothers; and four sisters. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; son David; and brother Tom.

Jim’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Jim and Maxine’s home in Akron, IN from 11:00 am to 5:00pm. Please call 574-505-0707 for directions if needed.
