James A. "Jim" Goddard

James A. “Jim” Goddard, 72, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at his residence. He was born on June 2, 1946 in Plymouth, IN to Vernon & Maxine E. (Morris) Goddard.

He was a lifetime area resident and graduated in 1965 from North Webster High School. On July 23, 1965 in Leesburg, IN he married Margaret J. “Maggie” Burns who preceded him on February 24, 2010. He retired in 2006 from Zimmer, Inc. in Warsaw in the shipping department. He was formerly employed at Monarch Lumber Company in Syracuse & Lyall Electric in North Webster.

He attended church at the Grace Village Chapel in Winona Lake, IN and formerly attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Oswego, IN.

He is survived by:

2 Grandchildren – Jeff Goddard of Warsaw and Jill Goddard of North Webster

5 Great Grandchildren

Sister – Janet Bell of Winona Lake

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son – David Goddard, and sister – Carolyn Goddard.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday April 1, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Anderson officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Burial will take place at a later date in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
