James E. Keirn, 75, of Mentone, IN passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. He was born on May 23, 1945 to Hubert and Adda (Reed) Keirn.
He graduated from Mentone High School in 1963 and was married on August 31, 1984 in Erlanger, KY to Linda C. Pyles who survives. He was a farmer and the owner/operator of Keirn Excavating in Mentone for 25 years.
He was a member of the Harrison Center Church in Etna Green, IN and a lifetime Mentone area resident. He was a loving husband and grandfather who loved to tractor pull, hunt, and fish.
He is survived by:

Son – Jamie D. (Amy) Wallace of Mentone
Daughter – Jennifer Robinson of Nicholasville, KY
3 Granddaughters – Christina Robinson of Corbin, KY, Carolann Wallace of Mentone, and Tori (Dennis) Samardzic of Fort Wayne, IN
2 Grandsons – Norman Wallace of Kokomo, IN and Jamie A. Wallace of Mentone
Gt. Granddaughter – Ajla Samardzic
2 Sisters – Becky (Larry) Montel of Beaver Dam, IN and Nancy (Dennis) Dodge of Las Cruces, NM
Brother – Rex (Trenda) Keirn of North Manchester, IN
Stepmother – Alice Keirn of Warsaw
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother – Jack Keirn, 2 brothers-in-law – John and David Pyles.
Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Harrison Center Church, 965 S. 800W Etna Green, IN 46524.
