James Edward "Jim" McCleary

James Edward "Jim" McCleary, 73, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 3:03 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Sycamore Village Healthcare in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on August 4, 1943 in Warsaw, In to Virgil A. & Lucille (Thorp) McCleary.
He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident, graduated in 1961 from Warsaw High School, and attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. He was a United States Air Force veteran and graduated in 1967 from the Air Force Academy where he was on the golf team.He was married on February 22, 1998 in Warsaw, IN to Irina Nekrasova who survives. He retired in 2000 as co-owner / operator of SYM Financial Corporation in Warsaw.
During retirement, he was inspired to begin an online woodworking company after creating several projects at home and for his granddaughters. This hobby was most important to him. He also enjoyed playing golf with his son-in-law and several local friends.

Daughter – Katie (Don) Ross of Blue Springs, MO
Son – Christopher McCleary of Bentonville, AR
6 Grandchildren
Brother – Richard McCleary of Warsaw
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County. A memorial gathering will take place from 2:00 - 4;00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Senior Center Pavillion, 1590 Park Ave., Winona Lake, IN.
