Jane C. DeRolf

Jane C. DeRolf, 76, of North Webster, IN passed away at 5:19 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 6, 1942 in Hammond, IN to Charles & Dorothy (Thorpe) Kaufman.

She grew up in Hammond, graduated in 1960 from Hammond High School and attended Hammond Business College. She was married on March 23, 1963 in Hammond, IN to Eugene E. “Gene” DeRolf who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for the F.B.I. in Chicago & Rosales in Hammond. She lived for a short time in Wisconsin before moving to the North Webster area in 1985.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in North Webster and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star in Hammond & Lady Lions in North Webster.

She is survived by:

Husband – Gene DeRolf of North Webster

2 Daughters – Debbie (Robert Tate) DeRolf of Syracuse & Deanna (Bob) Strombeck of North Webster

Son – David (Tamara) DeRolf of Griffith, IN

8 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother – James “Jim” Kaufman.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. (E.S.T) on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN and  & 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the United Methodist Church, 7822 E. Epworth Forest Rd, North Webster, IN with Pastor’s Byron Kaiser & Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
