Jane L. Plew, 53, of Milford, IN passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at her home. She was born on January 22, 1958 in Fort Wayne, IN to Max. & Arlene (Ropp) Simpson.
She was a lifetime North Webster / Milford area resident, graduated in 1975 from Wawasee High School and then from Indiana University. She was formerly employed at Adec Inc. in Bristol, IN as a case worker for 16 years.
She is survived by:
Daughter – Kate Plew of Sacramento, CA
Mother – Arlene Simpson of Nappanee, IN
Brother – Mark (wife, Kelly) Simpson of Nappanee
She was preceded in death by her father and son- Alex James Plew.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Jane Plew Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 72, North Webster, IN 46555. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with Rev. Linda Craig of the Nappanee United Methodist Church officiating.
