Janet Louise Dawson passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 in Manor Care Health Care and Rehabilitation, Anderson, Indiana at the age of 67.
Janet was born November 30, 1946 in Warsaw, Indiana to Harold S. and Mabel Pauline (Luse) Hite. She was a lifetime Warsaw resident and worked at K-Mart as a cashier for 8 years. She attended Salvation Army as a little girl and then the rest of her life, attended Pentecostal Lighthouse, American Legion Auxiliary in Warsaw.
She leaves behind her husband: James R. Dawson of Warsaw, son: James H. Dawson of Warsaw, daughter: Rebecca P. (Becky) Lowe of Warsaw; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Shirley (Boyd) Poe of Akron, Indiana; Joyce Tran of Mentone, Indiana; and brother: Robert Hite of Plymouth, Indiana.
Janet was preceded in death by her father: Harold S. Hite (February 10, 2000); mother: Mabel Pauline (Luse) Hite (October 16, 2007) and brother: Leroy Hite.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Friday, April 25th from 5-7 PM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating the life of Janet Louise Dawson will follow beginning at 7 PM in the funeral home. Rev. Glen Hughes of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana at a later date.
