Janet A. Peterson

Janet A. Peterson, 58, of Milford, IN passed away at 10:32 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at her home. She was born on March 12, 1956 in Fort Wayne, IN to Robert E. & Wanda M. (Penrod) Munson.

She grew up in California, graduated from high school there, and attended Butte College in Oroville, CA. She was married on July 24, 1993 in Milford to Jeffrey L. “Jeff” Peterson who survives and moved to Milford in 1993 from North Manchester. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Bowen Center in Warsaw & Jayco in Middlebury.

She was a member of the First Brethren Church in Milford.

She is survived by:
Husband – Jeff Peterson of Milford
2 Sons – Brandon Munson of Syracuse & Colin Munson of Milford
2 Grandchildren – Liam & Maiya Munson

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters – Debby Munson & Susan Munson and brother – Albert Munson.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June, 26, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN.  Graveside services will take place in at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 in the Oakwood Cemetery.
