Janet E. DeVittorio

Janet E. DeVittorio, 78, of North Webster, IN passed away at 2:55 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at her home. She was born on March 14, 1935 in Cleveland, OH to Murray G. & Margaret (Barnes) Hawk.

She graduated from Brush High School in Lyndhurst, Ohio and from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. She grew up in Ohio and had lived in Illinois, Georgia, Virginia, England and Indiana before moving to the Syracuse / North Webster area 28 years ago from Frankfort, IL. Formerly employed at New Beginnings Daycare in Milford, was a teacher / tutor, and worked at a library in Illinois.

She was a member of the North Webster Church of God.

She is survived by:
3 Daughters – Kim (Jeff King) DeVittorio of Dripping Springs, TX, Kristin DeVittorio of Fort Wayne & Allison DeVittorio of Elkhart
1 Grandson – Joshua Frankel

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister – Ann Houlihan & brother – John Hawk

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Church of God, 302 N. Main St., North Webster, IN with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Goshen Care at Home Hospice, P.O Box 723, Goshen, IN 46526 or North Webster Church of God, P.O. Box 313, North Webster, IN 46555. Envelopes will be available at church.
