Janet "Jan" Weaver

Janet “Jan” Weaver, 81, of North Webster, IN passed away at 6:42 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at her home. She was born on July 18, 1936 in Tipton, CA to John & Carolina (Manning) MacMillan.

She graduated from Tulare Union High School in California and attended the College of the Sequoias. She was married on March 10, 1956 in Bakersfield, CA to Alex James “Jim” Weaver who survives and was a homemaker. She moved to North Webster in 1998 from Salinas, CA.

She was a member of the North Webster American Legion Auxiliary Post 253.

She is survived by:

Husband – Jim Weaver of North Webster

Daughter – Jennifer Weaver of Warsaw

4 Grand & 1 Gt. Grandson

3 Sisters – Joan (Richard) Miller of Tulare, CA, Gloria MacMillan of California, and Phyllis Buie of Oregon

2 Brothers – Donald (Jeanette) MacMillan & Butch MacMillan both of Tipton, CA

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons – Jeff & James Weaver, and sister – MacMillan.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. S.R. 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster, IN is in charge of arrangements.
