Janet M. Collins

Janet M. Collins, 76, of North Webster passed away at 11:36 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw, IN. She was born on January 23, 1943 in Marion, IN to John Oris & Dora Ellen (Bliss) Rogers.

She grew up in Fairmount, graduated in 1961 from Fairmount High School, and attended Marion College. She moved to the North Webster area in 1970 from Marion. She formerly worked at RCA in Marion, Holiday Inn in Warsaw as the head waitress for many years, Chi Am Restaurant in North Webster, and South Shore Golf Course Restaurant in Syracuse.

She formerly attended the Wesleyan Church in Fairmount.

She is survived by:

2 Daughters – Deanna Ogburn of North Webster and Christina (Barry) Perkins of Miamisburg, OH

Son – Brian Collins of Bourbon

8 Granddaughters & 17 Gt. Grandchildren

3 Brothers- Dan (Becky) Rogers of Colorado Springs, CO., Ron (Aretha) Rogers of Charlotte, N.C., and Charlie (Sandy) Rogers of Brownsburg, IN

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother - John Rogers.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Kent Butcher of the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse officiating.
