Janet Maye Coy

Janet M. Coy, 79, of Goshen, IN passed away at 5:02 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. She was born on May 20, 1939 in Syracuse, IN to Paul D. & Ruth A. (Dehart) LeCount.

She graduated from Syracuse High School in 1957 and was married on July 14, 1957 in Syracuse, IN to Arthur Dale Coy who preceded her on December 17, 1968.  She was a homemaker and a home care giver for many years.  She attended the Harvest Community Church in Goshen, formerly attended North Webster Church of God, and the J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Group.

She is survived by:

3 Sons – Michael D. (Carol) Coy of Elkhart, David L. (Lorna) Coy of Goshen, and Mark V. (Kathy) Coy of Albertville, AL

7 Grand & 14 Gt. Grandchildren

1 Sister- Joan (Alden) Stuckman of Syracuse

1 Brother – Larry (Tina) LeCount of El Mirage, AZ

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter – Teresa Williamson, sister – Carole Buster, and brother – Robert LeCount.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the funeral home with Mark Coy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
