Jason Allen Coy, 31, of Syracuse, IN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at his home. He was born on November 2, 1980 in Warsaw, IN to Allen L. & Sheryl A. (Ogburn) Coy.

He is a lifetime Syracuse area resident, graduated in 1999 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and attended Indiana University in Bloomington. He was employed at National Products in Syracuse and was formerly employed at Sleepy Owl in Syracuse, Dewart Lake Inn in Syracuse & Homecrest Cabinetry in Goshen.

He formerly attended the North Webster Church of God and was a member of the Indiana University Chapter of Delta Upsilon Fraternity.

He is survived by:
Parents – Allen & Sherri Coy of Syracuse
3 Sisters – Mrs. Adam (Heather) Lovely of Noblesville, IN; Chelsea Coy of Syracuse; & Jenna Coy of Syracuse
Brother - Jaxon Coy of Syracuse
Maternal Grandmother & Step Grandfather – Joan & Charles Baker of Warsaw
Step Grandmother – Pam Ogburn of Orlando, FL
Step Grandfather – Rudy Mills of Anderson
Companion – Teri Lentner of Portage
Step Son – Shane Pullins

He was preceded in death by his infant sister – Amanda Coy.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.  Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Memorial bequest may be given to the Jason Coy Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
