Jayne M. Timmons, 85, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 12:35 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. She was born on November 17, 1931 in North Webster, IN to Isaac L. & Mildred M. (Bixler) Kline.
She lived most of her life in the North Webster, Milford, and Syracuse areas and attended North Webster High School. She was married on July 9, 1954 in Sacramento CA to Richard L. “Rich” Timmons Sr. who preceded her July 3, 2010. She was the former owner / operator of Country Home Floral & Gift in Syracuse.
She formerly attended Syracuse Baptist Church & Christian Cathedral of Praise in South Bend.
She is survived by:
Son- Gregory A. (Pamela) Timmons of Syracuse
3 Grandchildren – Brittney Timmons, Derek Timmons, and Krystina Ponder
7 Gt. Grandchildren – Max, Ethan, Gavin, Isaac, Madison, Rhonan, and Brooklyn
2 Sisters - Bonnie Christner of Warsaw, & Jeanette (James) Plummer of Syracuse
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Richard L. Timmons Jr., and 2 Sisters - Joan Mock & June Firestone.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
