Biography
Jean Marie Kindig, 75, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 1:33 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.

A resident of Warsaw for most of the last 40 years, Jean was born in Fenton, Michigan on October 21, 1940. She was the daughter of Edward and Mary (Swerdan) Youngs.

Jean was married to the Ronnie Kindig, originally of Mentone, Indiana, on June 2nd, 1961 in Fort Myers, Florida.

A kind and giving person, Jean was always willing to help others. She enjoyed a lively round of Karaoke, playing Euchre, and Shuffleboard. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW.

Many will miss Jean. Her surviving family includes six children: Tina (husband Nat) Miller of Claypool, Indiana, Andy Kindig of Claypool, Judy Baker of Warsaw, Steve (wife Susan) Kindig of Warsaw, Roy Kindig of Claypool and Eddie (wife Karey) Kindig of Warsaw; 15 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren and her sister: Nancy Bryant of Fort Myers, Florida.

In addition to her parents, Edward and Mary Youngs, those who preceded her in death are husband: Ronnie Kindig in December 2008, her second husband: George Wright in December 2012 and brother: Clarence Youngs in July 2008.

A memorial service will be held in Jean’s memory on Monday, May 16th, 2016 at 10 AM at Community Life Center, 825 N. Harrison Street, Warsaw, Indiana, officiating is Dr. Dan Cox.

Memorial gifts may be made to the family to be used at their discretion. Please make your gift payable to Judy Baker with envelopes available at the funeral home.
