Jeaneen L. Snyder, 78, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 4:23 AM in Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana.
Jeaneen was born February 17, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio to Lowell and Maureen (Sanders) Moore. She was a1955 graduate of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana.
On June 12, 1955 Jeaneen and Sanford C. Snyder were joined in marriage in Plymouth.
She was a homemaker as well as a nanny for several families in Plymouth.
She taught Sunday School in her younger years in Plymouth and later attended Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. She loved children and enjoyed all that goes along with being a homemaker – especially cooking and making crafts.
Those left with special memories are her son and daughter-in-law: Dr. Stephen J. and Debbie Snyder of Upland, Indiana; daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Tim Mundinger, Winona Lake; 5 grandchildren and their spouses: Micah Mundinger of Chicago, Illinois; Elizabeth and Ross Weaver, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Ben and Rachel Mundinger of Moline, Illinois; Stephanie and Travis Booth of Winnetka, Illinois; and Ryan and Olivia Snyder of Indianapolis, Indiana; 4 great grandchildren: Jackson, Samuel, Piper and Avery; brother and sister-in-law: Ronald and Mimi Moore of Hobart, Indiana; and sister: R. Carol Skinner of Carmel, Indiana.
Jeaneen was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford C. Snyder (March 7, 1991), great granddaughter: Adelyn Joy Weaver (May 7, 2014) and her parents: Lowell and Maureen Moore.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing Friday, March 6th from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. A service celebrating Jeaneen’s life will follow beginning at 7:00 PM. Pastor Bruce Barlow of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church will officiate. A private burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
The family has asked that gifts in Jeaneen’s memory be given to Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 King’s Highway, Winona Lake, Indiana 46590.
