Warsaw

Jeannine Lyder, age 91, of Warsaw, passed through Heaven's gates on October 17, 2024 from Paddock Springs Healthcare, Warsaw. She was born to an earthly life on April 13, 1933, in Hammond, Indiana to Elmer and Ann Lyder. Jeannine lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a quirky sense of humor that remained with her even in her final days.

Jeannine's career was as varied as her interests. No matter where she worked, she dedicated herself and her time diligently. She is remembered from working at Zondervan Book Store, Herald Book Store, First National Bank, and World Missionary Press. Her approach to work reflected her quirky personality, often engaging her colleagues with her distinctive sense of humor.

Educated in her hometown, Jeannine graduated from Hammond High School before furthering her studies at Mid-South Bible Institute. Throughout her life, she maintained a strong foundation in her faith, which became a central theme in her existence. Jeannine was a long-time member of Pleasant View Bible Church, where she served in various capacities, reflecting her commitment to her faith and community.

Those who knew her appreciated not only her tireless dedication to her work but also her unwavering faith in Christ. As her health waned she looked forward to meeting her Lord and Savior and in fact many days she asked Him if she could go today. She longed to be out of this world and experience Heaven.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ann (VinVliet) Lyder, who shaped her values and character throughout her formative years. As we remember Jeannine Lyder, we celebrate a life well-lived, a legacy of love, humor, and faith that will endure in the hearts of those she touched.
