Jeffrey C. “Jeff” Clement, 57, of Merrillville, IN died at 12:07 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the William J. Riley Hospice Residence in Munster, IN.
He was born on January 8, 1953 in Needham, MA to Morris A. & Barbara J (Clark) Clement.
He grew up in Elkhart and graduated in 1971from Elkhart High School. He was married on November 19, 1988 in Milford, IN to Angela J. Wise who survives. He was employed for Conrail & Norfolk Southern Railroad for the past 28 years as a car inspector and has resided in Merrillville for the past 12 years. He was a talented musician who played lead guitar in many local bands during the 1970’s.
He is survived by;
Wife – Angela Clement of Merrillville
Daughter – Kayla Clement of Merrillville
2 Sons – David (wife, Annette) Clement of Elkhart & Keegan (fiance – Donna) Wise of Lynnwood, IL
Granddaughter – Julianna
Father – Morris Clement of St. Petersburg, FL
2 Sisters – Mrs. Cyle (Pam) Weldy of Bristol & Mrs. Greg (Cindy) Andrews of Bristol
Brother – Stephen (wife, April) Clement of Nashville, TN
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in the Milford Christian Church, 201 N. Henry St, Milford, IN 46542 with Rev. Stephen Leininger officiating.
