Jeffrey "Jeff" Rostochak

Jeffrey “Jeff” Rostochak, 56, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 1:01 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 22, 1960 in Columbia City, IN to Michael T. & Wilma I. (Werstler) Rostochak.
He graduated in 1978 from Whitko High School in South Whitley, IN and in 1982 from Huntington College in Huntington, IN. He was married on August 17, 1985 in Howe, IN to Molly D. Walter who survives. He was a lifetime Pierceton / Leesburg area resident. He retired in August 2015 from the Warsaw Fire Dept. after 28 years of service and was a substitute teacher for Wawasee Community School Corporation.
He was a member of the Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church in Syracuse, a girls’ basketball coach in Milford, assistant golf coach for Wawasee High School, and an avid sports fan, especially for the St. Louis Cardinals & I.U. Basketball.
He is survived by:

4 Daughters – Mattia Rostochak of Beaumont, TX, Kylee Rostochak of Leesburg, Kabrea Rostochak of Leesburg, and Jadison Rostochak of Leesburg
Parents – Michael & Wilma Rostochak of Pierceton
2 Sisters – Becky (Doug) Mason of Syracuse & Diane Rostochak of Albion
Brother – Mike (Martha) Rostochak Jr. of Larwill
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN and 1 hour prior to funeral at the church on Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church, 7449 E. 1000N, Syracuse, IN with Pastor Jerry Winegarden officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.
Preferred memorials may be made to Molly Rostochak for the Rostochak Children’s College Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
