Joan M. Bradtmueller, 80, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 10:45 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born on June 2, 1930 in Fort Wayne, In to Lester & Marie Waterman.
She attended Central High in Fort Wayne and was married on September 18, 1971 in New Haven, IN to Elwin P. “Al” Bradtmueller who survives. She formerly worked at General Electric for 9 years & General Plating for several years both in Fort Wayne. She moved to the Leesburg / North Webster area in 1988 from New Haven / Fort Wayne area and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster.
She is survived by:

6 Daughters – Mrs. Steve (Sandi) Marcum of Fort Wayne; Mrs. George (Connie) Csadenyi of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Brig (Linda) Burgess of Atlanta, GA; Mrs. Darv (Tammy) Girardot of New Haven; Cheri Mills of Fort Wayne & Mrs. John (Karen) Martin of Angola
2 Sons – Kevin (wife, Missy) Bradtmueller of Fort Wayne & Kim (wife, Brenda) Bradtmueller of Fort Wayne
29 Grand & 37 Gt. Grandchildren
Half Brother – Carl Schuster of Winona Lake
Step Brother – Jim Kortenber of Angola
She was preceded in death by her parents, son – Tim Perrine, 2 grand & 1 Gt. Grandchild.
Private family services will be held at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.
Memorial bequest may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
