Joann K. Green

Joann K. Green, 78, of Milford, IN passed away at 11:07 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Goshen Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1942 in Battle Creek, MI to Grover & Eleanor (Crabtree) Waldron.

She grew up in Elkhart, attended Jimtown High School in Elkhart, and lived most of her life in the Milford area. She was married on April 17, 1959 in Bremen, IN to Frank M. Green who survives. She formerly worked as a unit secretary, surgical / scheduler at Goshen Hospital, Miller’s Merry Manor in Nappanee, and Goshen Orthopedics.

She was a member of the Milford Christian Church and former member of the Order of Eastern Star in Milford.

She is survived by:

Husband – Frank Green of Milford

2 Daughters – Deborah (Patrick) Belcher of Warsaw & Dawn Bender of Warsaw

3 Sons – David (Tamara) Green of Syracuse, Dennis (Lynne) Green of Warsaw, and Doug (Lori) Green of North Webster

14 Grand and several Gt. Grandchildren

Brother – Gary (Debra) Waldron of Campbellsville, KY

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson – Jordan Belcher, and sister – Sandra Smith.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery.
