John-Michael Kleinhen, 49, of North Webster, IN passed away at 5:24 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Parkview Hospital in Warsaw, IN. He was born on October 15, 1968 in New Castle, IN to Stephen & Mary Eleanor (Garner) Kleinhen.

He graduated from Richmond High School & attended Oklahoma University in Oklahoma City, OK. He was married on September 21. 1998 in Three Rivers, MI to Lori A. Waters who survives and moved to the North Webster in 2002 from Kimmel, IN. He formerly worked as a truck driver, worked in construction, was a self-employed mobile home rehab & repairman, a delivery driver and worked for Tenneco for 4 years.

He was a member of Brothers of the Wind, Reenactments groups, and attended the Dewart Lake Friends Church in Syracuse.

He is survived by:

Wife – Lori Kleinhen of North Webster

4 Daughters – Chantle (Richard) Pelletier of Kalamazoo, MI, Elizabeth Fleckenstein of Warsaw, Jennifer Kleinhen of Ligonier, and Erin Kleinhen of North Webster

2 Sons – John Thomas Fleckenstein of Grand Rapids, MI & John Allen Kleinhen of Richmond

11 Grandchildren

Parents – Stephen (Julie) Kleinhen of Colorado Springs, CO & Eleanor Kleinhen of Beaumont, TX

Sister – Gretchen (Jesus) Salinas of Beaumont, TX

He was preceded in death by 4 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.

Preferred memorials may be given to the John Kleinhen Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 72, North Webster, IN 46555.
