Brooks Newell passed away on March 7, 2024, in Warsaw, IN, surrounded by his family at the age of 32. He was born on February 13, 1992, in Marion, IN to Michael and Jill (McHenry) Newell.
Brooks was quite the character - a man who loved people and enjoyed striking up conversations with anyone he met. With a voice that seemed to move at 200 miles per hour, he left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of speaking with him. Brooks was known for his ability to connect with others effortlessly; he never knew a stranger and got along well with everyone he encountered.
In his free time, Brooks indulged in various hobbies and interests. He had a particular passion for sports, especially hockey, and found joy in activities like archery. An avid watcher of hunting and fishing shows, Brooks also had a soft spot for animals, particularly whales. When it came to food preferences, his favorite meal consisted of pizza and cheeseburgers with fries but hold the cheese!
Aside from his hobbies, Brooks held strong spiritual beliefs. He believed in God and Jesus wholeheartedly and openly shared his faith with anyone willing to engage in meaningful conversations about spirituality.
Brooks will be dearly missed by his parents, Michael and Jill Newell; sisters Stacey (Cassie) Navarro and Barb (Bree) Kaylor; uncle, Mitchell Newell; aunt, Aubrey Bair; and cousin, Matt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Alice Newell, Jack and Wanda McHenry, and Carol Guenin; uncle, Mark Newell; and aunts Angie Newell and Trena Beusking.
