John L. Hill

John Lorene Hill, 94, of Nappanee, IN passed away at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Center for Hospice House in Elkhart, IN. He was born on October 9, 1920 in Shipshewana, IN to Delbert E. & Blanche E. (Kreighbaum) Hill.
He graduated in 1939 from North Webster High School, attended Barber College in Indianapolis, IN and was a United States Army Air Corps veteran. On September 8, 1945 he married Klara E. Muntinga who survives. He retired from the mobile home industry after 30 years, having worked for Kropf & Shult Mobile Homes. He lived in Carmel, IN, Marietta, GA, Orleans, IN & North Webster before moving to Nappanee 3 years ago.
He formerly attended the North Webster Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by:

Several nieces & nephews
He was preceded by his parents, 4 sisters – Edna Hill, Bertha Wolfe, Effie Hickman and Dorothy Swinehart and 4 brothers – Walter Leroy, Robert Lamar, Edward Lawrence, and Raymond Edgar Hill.
No services are planned. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd., Warsaw, IN. Burial will be at a later date in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Middlebury. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster is in charge of arrangements.
