Obituary for Jolane Parker (Drudge)

Jolane Sue Parker, a long-time resident of Oro Valley, AZ passed away on the 14th of August at 3:20 pm, at Banner University Medical Center Hospital, from long term cardiovascular challenges.
She was born on August 7th, 1944 in Warsaw, Indiana, to Kenneth Drudge and Bettie Lou (Kelly) Drudge, both deceased.
Jolane graduated as an X-Ray Technician from Elkhart University in Indiana before meeting and marrying Stephen Parker on October 16th, 1965.
Jolane was a member of First Methodist Church in her home town of Warsaw, Indiana.
She was a devout wife and stay at home mother. She was very active socially. She was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority and volunteered as a Kindergarten aid at Chester Elementary in North Manchester, Indiana. In Warsaw, she worked part time at Creative Floral in the early 80’s. Jo was a golfer, she was an officer at the El Con Social Club and at held several offices in Sun City Oro Valley where she also served on the Neighborhood Pride committee and Ladies Nine Holers until early 2018.
Jolane loved good food, socializing, shopping and decorating, going to movies and plays with friends and family. Jo, as most knew her, also adored her time watching sunrises and sunsets on Chapman Lake, as well as the fireworks there on the 4th of July. She had a wonderful smile and personality and could light up a room. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Parker of Warsaw, Indiana and Oro Valley, AZ and her daughters Angela of Tucson, AZ and Kristi Parker of Boise, ID as well as her grandson, Andrew Parker Beckett of Boise, ID and her faithful companion, Moe the Maltese.
Jo chose to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be announced in Oro Valley and in Warsaw, in the near future. Arrangements are being handled by Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw, Indiana.
