Jorge De La Rosa Hinojo, de Warsaw, falleció en su hogar rodeado de su familia el 18 de septiembre de 2024, a la edad de 64 años. Nació el 23 de abril de 1960 en el Ejido El Tanque de los Jiménez, Aguascalientes. Jorge llevó una vida caracterizada por su inquebrantable compromiso con su familia y sus pasiones.
A lo largo de su carrera, Jorge trabajó en Smoker Craft en New Paris, donde se orgulloso de su trabajo como pulidor de barcos. Su naturaleza meticulosa y su dedicación laboral le valieron el respeto y la admiración de sus colegas y de aquellos a quienes sirvió.
Fuera de sus actividades profesionales, Jorge tenía diversos pasatiempos e intereses que le brindaban alegría. Como apasionado fanático de los Dodgers, pasaba muchas horas viendo juegos junto a sus seres queridos. También disfrutaba ver Univisión y las noticias mexicanas, manteniéndose conectado con sus raíces. Cada año, Jorge viajaba a México para visitar a su familia, una tradición que atesoraba. Le gustaba comer flautas y disfrutar de una Coca Cola fría, placeres simples que le traían gran felicidad.
La familia de Jorge era el latido de su existencia. Le sobrevive su esposa, Elisa De La Rosa; sus hijos: Isabel De La Rosa, Georgina Gomora, Valeria De La Rosa Hinojo, Alejandra De La Rosa Hinojo y Jorge De La Rosa Jr.; sus nietos: Canek Valadez, Gaddiel Valadez, Obani Valadez, Milano Navor, Remi Navor, Iker Gomora, Rogelio Gomora, Max Gomora, Milan Peñaloza, Amaya Carias y Jorge Tadeo Ruiz; su madre, Evangelina Hinojo López, y sus hermanos: Esperanza, Ramiro, Santiago, Norberto, Armando, Guadalupe, José Isabel, Evangelina y Lorena. Le precede en el fallecimiento su padre, J. Guadalupe De la Rosa Díaz.
La casa funeraria Titus se encarga de los arreglos de Jorge. Se llevará a cabo una visita el jueves 26 de septiembre de 2024, de 5:00 PM a 9:00 PM en la casa funeraria, 2000 Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN. La misa fúnebre se celebrará el viernes 27 de septiembre de 2024, en Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 225 Gilliam Dr, Warsaw, IN 46580 a las 2:00 PM, con una visita comenzando una hora antes. La familia invita a todos aquellos que conocieron y amaron a Jorge a reunirse para celebrar su vida y compartir los recuerdos que dejó atrás.
Jorge De La Rosa Hinojo, of Warsaw, passed away at his home with his family by his side on September 18, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on April 23, 1960, in Ejido El Tanque de los Jiménez, Aguascalientes, Jorge led a life that was characterized by his unwavering commitment to his family and his passions.
Throughout his career, Jorge worked at Smoker Craft in New Paris, where he took great pride in his role as a boat buffer. His meticulous nature and devoted work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and those whom he served.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Jorge had various hobbies and interests that brought him joy. A passionate Dodgers Baseball fan, he spent many hours watching games alongside his loved ones. He also enjoyed watching Univision and Mexican news, staying connected to his roots. Every year, Jorge made the trip to visit family in Mexico, which was a cherished tradition for him. He had a fondness for eating flautas and relishing a cold Coca Cola, simple pleasures that brought him great happiness.
Jorge’s family was the heartbeat of his existence. He is survived by his wife Elisa De La Rosa; children: Isabel De La Rosa, Georgina Gomora, Valeria De La Rosa Hinojo, Alejandra De La Rosa Hinojo, and Jorge De La Rosa Jr.; his grandchildren: Canek Valadez, Gaddiel Valadez, Obani Valadez, Milano Navor, Remi Navor, Iker Gomora, Rogelio Gomora, Max Gomora, Mila Peńaloza, Amaya Carias, and Jorge Tadeo Ruiz; his mother, Evangelina Hinojo Lopez and his siblings: Esperanza, Ramiro, Santiago, Norberto, Armando, Guadalupe, Jose Isabel, Evangelina, and Lorena. He is preceded in passing by his father, J. Guadalupe De la Rosa Diaz.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with Jorge’s care. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home, 2000 Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 225 Gilliam Dr, Warsaw, IN 46580 at 2:00pm with a visitation starting an hour prior. The family invites all those who knew and loved Jorge to come together to celebrate his life and share in the memories that he left behind.
