Obituary for
Joseph Armey
Joseph DeWayne Armey, known by most simply as Joe or Joey, passed away unexpectedly while travelling for work in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was 49 years old.
Joe was born on July 15, 1968 and was raised in the Warsaw area. The son of Linda (Goshert) and Larry Armey, Joe graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School with the class of 1986. He was the owner of Armey Satellite Systems and was committed and dedicated to his customers.
A loyal friend, Joe would do anything to help another person out. He had a good sense of humor and was always smiling. He enjoyed staying active and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing in Michigan, being with his family and playing with his grandson, Dustin.
In his younger years, Joe played the drums and was active in 4-H, raising pigs. Perhaps reminding Joe of simpler times, he enjoyed watching classic shows on TV Land. He also enjoyed watching Land of the Lost and Walker, Texas Ranger.
Dearly missed by many, a list of those who survive includes his daughter, Mariah (nee Armey) Bennett (husband, Austin Bennett) of Warsaw; grandson, Dustin Bennett of Warsaw; parents, Larry and Linda Armey of Warsaw and two brothers: Phil and Tom Armey, both of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends may join the family for a time of sharing on Tuesday, June 19th from 2 to 4 p.m and 6 to 8 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A funeral which celebrates his life will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 20th at Noon. Burial will follow in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
