Joseph A. “Joe” Kruger, 91, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 18, 1930 in Seymour, IN to Alton & Margaret (Burns) Kruger.
He graduated in 1948 from North Webster High School, was a United States Korean veteran, and lifetime North Webster / Warsaw area resident. He was married in 1978 in Warsaw, IN to Sue E. (Bibler) Riffe who survives. He formerly worked at Chore Time Brock in Milford, IN for 32 years and Ace Hardware in Warsaw, IN for 25 years.
He attended the Community Grace Brethren Church in Warsaw and was a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
He is survived by:
Wife – Sue Kruger of Warsaw
Daughter – Cheryl (Doug) Ringler of Syracuse
4 Grand & 6 Gt. Grandchildren
Step Daughter –Amanda (Bruce) Mueller of Palatine, IL
2 Step Grandchildren
Brother – Thomas Kruger of North Webster
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter- Kim Stewart, granddaughter- Katie Stewart, stepson – Stephen Riffe, and brother – Bill Kruger.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. A Celebration of Life service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday December 16, 2021 at Community Grace Brethren Church, 909 S. Buffalo St, Warsaw, IN with Pastor Reg Overstreet officiating.
