Joyce Tran (Hite)

Joyce D. (Hite) Tran, age 71 of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 12:34 p.m. in Miller’s Merry Manor of Syracuse. She was born on April 3, 1948 and was the daughter of Harold S. and Mable Pauline (Luse) Hite.

Joyce was an amazing, funny and feisty woman who loved the little moments in life. She was a kind person who loved unconditionally and who carried Christ in her heart. She enjoyed singing and all kinds of music. She liked to travel and, in quiet times, she enjoyed reading and watching tv shows like Judge Judy, Golden Girls and Little House on the Prairie.

Those who survive include her daughter, Niki Dougherty; son, Robert Dougherty; sister, Shirley (Boyd) Poe and five grandchildren. Her parents; two brothers, Leroy Hite and Robert Hite and sister, Janet Dawson all preceded her in passing.

Joyce’s Life Celebration® will be held at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, on Friday, December 13th at 11 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Committal will follow in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
