Joy E. Williams, 63, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 10, 1952 in Teegarden, IN to Buel & Martha (Hoover) Wheeler.
She graduated from Laville High School and lived most of her life in the Teegarden, Nappanee & Syracuse areas except for a few years in Alabama. She was a homemaker and was married on March 3, 1979 in Teegarden, IN to Jerry W. Williams who survives.
She formerly attended the United Pentecostal Church in Walkerton, IN.
She is survived by:
Husband – Jerry Williams of Syracuse
Daughter – Amanda Scott of Niles, MI
2 Sons – Tim Hostetler of Smithtown, AL & James (Krystal Spraque) Williams of New Paris
5 Grandchildren
Sister – Joan Surface of Plymouth
Brother – David (Cindy) Wheeler of South Bend
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister – Doris Jean Boocher.
No public services will be held. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County 4356, N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
